The food was very tasty, seasoned well flavorful. Service was pretty nonexistent however and they were out of a few vegetable sides (things happen). I wish they offered a lamb kitfo and for that reason alone I’d rather go to Enatye. My biggest gripe however was not receiving a receipt before being asked for payment, and then also the fact that there is an undisclosed fee that is not mentioned anywhere or even listed on the receipt. It’s more than 3% even so it’s not even just a credit card processing fee. Thankfully there’s so much good Ethiopian around but I really don’t understand the hype. Still tipped $20 cash not the servers fault. Do the math on the receipt I posted and check for yourself. This was our first time trying Ethiopian and it exceeded our expectations. The restaurant's atmosphere is very nice, with great decor and relaxing music. The service was great, everyone was very nice and attentive, and we felt well taken care off. And the food was delicious! I highly recommend the Doro Wot and the Gored Gored!
